Story
I would like to share a story of 2 Paul's..........
Paul Cooper was my first husband who died at the age of 25 from Hodgkins Lymphoma. We have ridden to Paris for the last 3 years to support this amazing charity because at the age of 24 I was a widow who organised a funeral to bury my husband. You never get over something like that and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Paul street is a good friend and colleague who is celebrating 10 years of remission from Hairy Cell Leukaemia. With 2 young children he was given the life changing news that we all have nightmares about hearing. But With the love and support of his wife and children he beat Cancer and this year we are all going the extra mile in helping him complete 10 challenges for 10 years.
......... and last but not least I would like to tell you Anthony's roll in this story. We met when we were 14 but life took us in different directions. Our paths crossed the year after Paul died and he has never left my side since. We are now married with 2 beautiful children and Anthony is now a ride captain for the London to Paris cycle ride. He has seen his own mother beat breast cancer twice and has witnessed the pain suffered by those who have lost but also those who have survived.
