<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Well having run the London Marathon have decided that it is quite a long way! All I can say really that mine was the classic text book example of how not to train for a marathon! Managed to become an expert at the carb loading and precious little else, but I did it and have the medal to prove it and have a personal best time!</p> <p>So to reward and support my humble efforts it is not too late to give to a good cause!</p> <p>This will enable me, at the age of 85, to spend an additional five months in a nursing home at &pound;5,000/month. I have to exercise early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing! I have been advised to check my resting pulse. But if I can&rsquo;t find my own pulse, I check the pulse of a loved one.
