I've once again signed up to take part in the Edinburgh Half Moonwalk, which this year takes place on 9 June, to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
This will be the third time I've taken part in the annual event which is now in its seventh year. On both the previous occasions I've taken part the atmosphere has been fantastic and I'm looking forward to this years event being even bigger and better.
The Moonwalk helps to raise money for the Walk the Walk Charity which in turn provides money to a range of charities supporting research and facilities for women who've experienced breast cancer including Maggie's Centres and the Breast Cancer Institute
Nearly 4,500 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in Scotland making it the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women.

Thanks again!
P.S. I broke my arm last week so although I'm absolutely determined to finish the walk - please sponsor me on the basis that if I don't make the full 13 miles it will be for a good reason!
