Story
Well, it's that time of year again! I'm taking part in my 14th and last Great North Run on Sunday 19 September 2010. (I know I've said before it's my last GNR but I think I really mean it this year!). I did my first GNR when I was 19 and I'm now 45 so I think I've done my bit. I'm planning on doing more cycling next year instead - you can't "free wheel" when you're jogging!
Anyway, I'm raising money this year for the RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre who are based about 2 miles from where we live. The Centre cares for thousands of wildlife casualties (particularly orphaned, sick or injured seals) each year and depend entirely on voluntary donations.
If you decide you would like to sponsor me, please could you type in the message box that you would like your donation to go to the RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre code 00-280-284.
And now for the standard bit. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
