Story
We decided to take part in the Thomas Ball Midnight Walk as a great reason to try to improve our fitness. Now ok, we're not running a marathon or swimming the English Channel, we're not climbing Mount Everest or hiking from Lands End to John O'Groats... But it is our own personal challenge and should be fun. Who knows what it might lead to next...we might even decide to take on a bigger challenge in the future!?
We'll update this page soon with some exciting pictures of us on our training walks and afterwards with some shots on the night of the event where we will be sporting our fetching fluorescent jackets :-)
Let's face it though, the most important reason for us taking part and setting up this page is to raise money for a fantastic charity and that is where we need your help!
For those of you who don't already know, the Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund was founded in 1999 by Thomas Ball, then aged 9 and himself undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma stage four which had been diagnosed 20 months earlier. Thomas lived in Prestwood with his family.
