Although Dad never needed rescuing he was involved in turning out to help the CRO in several rescues.

He joined the Craven Pothole Club in 1987 and caved extensively in the Yorkshire Dales, Mendip, Wales and France.

Most people who met Dad have a funny story to tell and he always enjoyed the time he spent with the club caving, walking, cycling, drinking...
