Story

Hi All,

Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in support of UNICEF.

I am a late joiner to the 45 strong team from DLA Piper offices around the globe who in October will be undertaking a week long trek across one of Africa's largest mountain ranges, the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia, climbing ultimately up to an altitude of 4,450 m to summit Mount Bwahit on day 6. Having already climbed Mount Kilimanjaro I am acutely aware that even for those who are physically fit, trekking at altitude is both mentally and physically tough and so our team needs your full support!

Our aim is to raise a total of £185,000 for UNICEF. All the participants on the Challenge are paying their own way, with flights subsidised by the firm - every penny you donate therefore will go straight to Unicef and so I'd be extremely grateful for any contributions towards my personal fundraising target of £3,000.

DLA Piper and UNICEF have been working together since 2013 in an award winning partnership  to strenthen the protection of children around the world.  The funds raised from this event will go towards supporting UNICEF's child justice programmes in order to ensure that children who come into contact with the law, whether as victims, witnesses or offenders, are properly protected.

Please please please show your support for this very worthy cause! Your donations, however big or small, really will make a difference.  Please keep visting my JustGiving page to keep updated on our  progress and training.
