Hope 4 India cares for abandoned children in Andhra Pradesh through the provision of food, accommodation, clothing and education. Our children’s home in Kallur is currently supported by sponsors and a UK-funded sustainable agriculture project. Thanks to ongoing investment, the agriculture project will totally fund the children’s home in the years ahead making the scheme financially independent of Western support.

Over the course of 7 days I will be swimming a total of 22 miles in 11 hours, (roughly works out to just over 3 miles a day), or in other words the distance of the English Channel, only minus the waves! All the money raised will go toward the ongoing construction of a new children’s home for orphans and abandoned children in Andhra Pradesh, India. The first phase of the building is 90% complete so the money raised will help pay for the final plumbing and carpentry work which will then enable the children to move in! Hope4India is a charitable organisation which has absolutely no UK overheads. You can find out more about Hope4India at www.hope4india.org.uk including their child sponsorship and agriculture schemes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
