My story
Hi, Me and my friend Catherine are running in the Brentwood Half Marathon (25th March 2012) in memory of my Dad who sadly passed away last year. One of my dad’s last wishes was to thank the doctors and nurses who kept him alive for a further year and a half; and I want to make his last wish come true. Without the support and help that both the nurses and the amazing doctors gave to my dad, he would not have been half the person he was and have the strength throughout. So please help me make his final wish come true by sponsoring us and help me thank the people who gave me and my sister the extra year and a half of memories that we never thought we would have. We are raising money for Broomfield Hospital (part of the Mid Essex Hospital Services) where my dad received the best care we could have ever hoped for and we want to see this continued for other families.
