<p>Hi Everyone</p> <p>Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p>Starting on August 6th 2011, my boyfriend and I will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats for the Education and Research Studies department for Neurosurgery at The Royal Free Hospital. This is a topic that is close to my heart, as back in June 2010 my youngest sister was diagnosed with a brain tumour. As you can imagine this was devastating news to my family and friends.</p> <p>However due to the care and expertise of the Royal Free staff the tumour was removed, and my sister Katy is now on the road to recovery.</p> <p>I would in particular like to say a huge thank you to Mary Murphy who actually carried out the operation.</p> <p>We will be completing this challenge on a tandem bike, along with 12 others, who are all doing it for their own charities. The journey will take us 15 days, averaging approx 80-90 miles per day.</p> <p>It doesn't matter how much you donate, all donations are very welcome and appreciated. Thanks again for all your help xx</p>
