Reading about the Miracles Centre in Bosnia struck a chord with me. Imagine one day you are fit, healthy and running around, then a mine goes off and you no longer have two legs.  I get upset when I can't run because I have a meeting during my lunch break, how trivial that now seems!

Every training run I do for the London Marathon I shall try to remember how lucky I am and how I can help those not so fortunate.
