On Sept 5th I will start a new challenge as part of an all female group to raise money for a very important cause, the fight against breast cancer. 10 weeks of training will culminate in a amateur fight against an equally matched opponent on 15th November as part of Industry Boxing's White collar event for the charity Against Breast Cancer.

This charity is dedicated to funding ground-breaking research to improve detection, treatment and increase survival after breast cancer diagnosis. 

Its ultimate goal is to prevent secondary spread, which is the main cause of breast cancer related deaths. 

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and can affect anyone. Whilst in recent years mortality rates have been falling, mainly due to improvements in early detection, there is still a long way to go. 

Thank you in advance for any donations to this fantastic cause and really will make a difference. 

Once training begins I will post regular updates and photos. I will give supporters the chance to vote on a suitable nickname, ring music and also buy tickets to attend the event on 15th November.
