The Elizabeth Foundation Bradford Three Peaks Challenge · 26 September 2009

The Elizabeth Foundation is a Family Centre with baby, toddler and pre-school sessions for deaf children and their families. We follow the 'Multi Sensory Oral Approach', to develop speech, language and listening skills by using all of the child's senses in a natural, fun, child-centred environment.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 26th September I will be participating in the National 3 Peaks Challenge organised by the AlMaghrib Diamond Geezers. (Dont forget to visit their page on Just Giving)

The drive and motivation is to raise money for the ELIZABETH FOUNDATION. A wonderful charity that supports severe to profoundly deaf children to speak in the Bradford area.

They have set a modest target of £20,000, and are already some considerable way towards achieving that.

Nowadays deaf children have access to amazing hearing aids and cochlear implants, however they often do not get the support needed to develop age appropriate listening and spoken language.

Please dig deep and donate generously so that we can try to help give some of the under priviledged children the benefits of the things many of us take for granted.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Elizabeth Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Your support is HUGELY appreciated.

Thankyou very much.
