We have a very clear vision: a world where people's lives are no longer limited by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

On the 12th September, I am running the Great North Run, the world's biggest half marathon event! My main aim is to raise money for an incredible charity called Action Duchenne.

Action Duchenne supports boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a degenerative and severe muscle wasting condition.

The reason I have chosen Action Duchenne is because someone very close to me, Kenny Cloke, lives with Duchenne. Kenny is a huge inspiration to all that know him and he always amazes me with his attitude towards life.

Action Duchenne fund research and clinical trials that will one day hopefully lead to a treatment, or cure, for Duchenne. The charity have also been a great source of information and support for Kenny and his family. If you want to know more about Action Duchenne, visit this page - https://www.actionduchenne.org/about-us/our-vision/

If you are able to donate, any contribution would be amazing in helping Action Duchenne continue their vital work and to help find a cure for this life limiting condition.

I am so grateful for every donation! Thank you so much for your support and hopefully see you at the finish line!!
