We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

Grace and I will compete in an official British Eventing event, as such, by Autumn 2017!  For those who don't know, this is a horsey triathalon and requires us to do a dressage test (easy), a show jump course (so-so) and a cross-country course (eek, people get seriously injured, or worse,  doing this!).

The 'Wobbleberry Challenge' is aimed at middle-aged, whimpy riders who have never evented. Those who know me, my comfort zone requires at least one hoof on the ground at all times.  So to complete this challenge we will need to learn many new skills, crochet me some titanium brave pants and get fit.  We have both had over a year off (due to me having a foal) and the 'Wobbleberry' element refers to more than just a state of mind!

But most importantly, the Wobbleberry Challenge will raise funds for the Willberry Wonder Pony Charity set up by a remarkable young woman, Hannah Francis, who faced and fought an aggressive yet terminal
osteosarcoma. The Charity supports vital research into osteosarcoma and grants equine related wishes to seriously ill people and their  families.

Any donation will be most gratefully received,  thank you.  S x

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
