Thank you to everybody for the awesome and generous donations that have been pouring in to rescue a stray companion animal that has bonded with one of our brave serving soldiers in Afghanistan. Nowzad Dogs has also been lucky enough to receive a fantastic grant which will ensure we enough funds for our current rescues. However, due to the tragic incident with Target all rescues will be halted at the shelter in Afghanistan while we review our policy for dogs travelling to the US to ensure that this does not happen again <!--StartFragment--> <p class="MsoNormal">Sausage was found severely injured on the side of the road by a member of the Afghan rescue centre. Without proper vet facilities the staff were able to patch Sausage up but he lost the use of one of his legs. After nearly a year in the Afghan rescue Sausage is now in quarantine in the UK.  </span><o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal">He has been seen by a vet since his arrival in the UK  and the vet has advised that Sausage's injured leg is more of a hindrance than a help to him and that it is only likely to get worse.  We now need to raise the funds to have his leg amputated so that he is more comfortable.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal">We also need to raise funds towards the cost of bringing Sausage to the UK so please help us by spreading the word and donating if you can.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Help us to give this lovely boy the life he deserves.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Thank you for supporting us.</span><o:p></o:p></span></p> <!--EndFragment--> </span></font>
