Day 2 done. Arrived in Muir of Ord. Big mileage today. Really good going. Some stunning views along the way. Now its time for shower, food, more food and rest. Massive thanks to the Argyle guest house, tomintoul for last nights hospitality, an awesome breakfast this morning and some food for the road. Tomorrow, its the last run into Plockton. Fingers crossed and thanks to all for the messages of encouragement today. Really helping us along :)

Day 1 done! Just arrived in Tomintoul after great ride today. Getting up The Lecht road was tough, but equally euphoric coming down the other side :) Everyone having a great time, and the weather has been gorgeous. Looking forward to tomorrow. For now though, a hot shower and some chill time is on the cards for the team. Thanks for all the support folks, its helping us along.

CLAN (www.clanhouse.org) an independent charity based in Scotland that provides support to those affected by Cancer, whether personally, as a loved one, or as a friend. I have been truly touched by the work of these amazing people who everyday devote themselves to helping others. We felt, whole heartedly, that it was time for us to do something for them.
And so, on the 24th September 2011 our team of brave cycling souls known as "The Clan" will set out from Aberdeen on the East coast of Scotland and pedal off towards Plockton on the West coast, some 280km away. Between us and our destination lay the Scottish Highlands, and perhaps a wee bit of Scotland’s notorious weather ?!
Our aim from this challenge is to raise awareness and much needed funds to help support CLAN and the wonderful work they do.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and ensure. For UK taxpayers, they will also ensure GiftAid is applied for every eligible donation
