Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Scott is such a great husband. He suggested to Chui-Ling one evening after tea in a very causal way, it would be a lovely idea to visit London for a weekend with the boys and check out the sights! Chui-Ling, Cam and Fin thought this was a great idea and agreed enthusiastically. It wasn't until much later that evening, that Scott mentioned that himself and Chui-Ling would be seeing the sights from 500ft above the ground and would be getting a lovely view of the London skyline! Yes, you got it, Scott had entered them both into an abseil down St. Guys Hospital Tower - the fourth highest building in London on Saturday 28th May!

They're raising money for a charity called The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. SMA is an inherited neuromuscular disease that affects nerve cells in the spinal cord. Type 1 SMA is the most severe and is usually fatal within two years of birth. The Trust is a national charity with 25 years of experience providing information, support and advice to families and individuals affected by SMA. They also promote essential research, treatments and aim to find a cure for the disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So if you like the idea of the Blakes throwing themselves off a very tall tower, then please dig deep and donate now.
