Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For the period May 22nd to June 6th 2011 I'll be cycling from Lands End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland. It's the bottom to the top of the UK! Approximately 1,100 miles ( 1,800 km ). I'm doing it with 12 others from Chester Triathlon club.

Although living in Chester UK, most of you will know that I'm actually from Christchurch New Zealand. This year a devastating earthquake hit Christchurch on 22nd Feb killing more than 160 people and injuring around 2,500. Although my family are ok there are many others who have not been so fortunate and are in great need of support. This is very close to my heart as many people I know have been affected by this in any number of ways from loosing there jobs to houses.

I would like to dedicate this bike ride and raise funds for the Red Cross New Zealand earthquake appeal. Although the charity shows as the generic Red Cross UK I assure you that I have contacted the Red Cross and all funds will be going to the Christchurch appeal.

Please support me and my fellow Cantabrians back home in Christchurch New Zealand by sponsoring me for this bike ride.
