Scotland Coast to Coast 2011 · 17 September 2011 ·

Our aim is to empower people by providing them with information - ALL the information - including complementary, orthodox and currently alternative treatments being used effectively elsewhere in the world so they can make more informed choices and increase their personal odds of beating cancer.

Story

Cancer is a modern-day plague that affects 1 in 3 people in the UK. It doesn’t discriminate, it doesn’t care how young, how healthy or how ‘good’ a person is – it will attack them just the same. I’m sure that we all know of somebody who has suffered from Cancer and I am equally sure that we all want to do whatever we can to assist the organisations that are working tirelessly to constantly improve our collective chances of beating this disease.

We (Scott and Mat) have decided to put months of effort in to training for a truly daunting event: in September we will cycle (80 miles), run (24 miles) and kayak (3 miles) from one side of Scotland to the other, and the time limit is just 13 hours! We are asking everyone that we know to help us out by contributing an amount to Cancer Active, a charity that that endeavours to provide all the information on cancer treatments, including complementary and alternative treatments.
