**Due to a back injury that has been occuring since the Stafford Half, I will not be taking part in the Potters Arf Marathon. A new half marathon will be entered in the coming weeks **

Mesothelioma has had a significant impact on both myself and my family since it claimed the life of my Grandad around 3 years ago.

Running the Stafford Half Marathon in the town where he lived for so long and in the region where I grew up will be a fitting tribute. 

This will be my 4th half marathon and I aim to raise as much money as possible for the Mesothelioma UK Charitable Trust, a charity that supports the many people who have to suffer with the illness. 

I aim to beat my personal best of 1h 43min, training will start before the new year, after a whole 9 months out from running it will be good to get back on the roads!
