We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are doing the Three Peaks in 24 hours challenge. All money raised will go to ward C9 at Addenbrookes Teenage Cancer Trust

Maisie was a very vibrant and courageous girl who was diagnosed with a rare aggressive bone cancer called Ewing's sarcoma. In 2014 at 15yrs old, she underwent intensive rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a stem cell transplant, all at ward C9 at Addenbrookes hospital, Cambridge. This was all facilitated by Teenage Cancer Trust, who fund 28 specialist units across the UK and 48 nurses and youth support coordinators. Maisie inspired everyone who met her with her courage and kindness, but very sadly passed away a few days after her 17th birthday.

Maisie's courage inspired me to join this challenge and I hope I can persuade you to support this very worthwhile cause
