I’m running the 5.8k in Chorlton Meadows to raise funds for FC United and the Frost Foundation children’s charity. I
am
also running to beat my fellow FC Board member, Adam Brown, who reckons
he can beat me. The loser has to make a donation to the FC Development
Fund. The winner gets bragging rights for 12 months. You
can
help spur me on by making sure I get the biggest pile for two great
causes. It is vital that I do the double over him – most money raised
and first home.
And
there’s another competition this year – AFC Wimbledon, Rochdale
Hornets, Merthyr Tydfil FC and Mancunians Rugby League have all
challenged that they can raise more money than FC United supporters.
We have to prove we have the best supporters in the land – and the
nicest friends, like you, so thank you very much.
