I rode the Manchester to Blackpool in 2003 18 weeks following brain surgery to remove a large meningioma roughly slightly smaller than a golf ball. Since then I have ten years of pretty good life got right back in cycling with a club I love, brought others in cycling with the club. Got married to wonderful wife Katherine and have had beautiful daughter Alice.

A couple of weeks ago I had a six month scan and check up with my consultant at Christies he is now refered me back to the surgeons with a view to them being able to do better for me than he could do with radiotherapy.

So Im riding with as many as of clubmates as possible to raise money for Christies to research childhood treatments so young people don't have to go through what I have gone through after original treatment as eight year old for Leukemia.
