Story
Firstly every person at some point in their life is affected by cancer. It might be personally, someone in your family or a friend. Secondly I believe it is important in life to stretch yourself and give back what you can. This ticks both those boxes. Lastly, and most importantly, as much as this will be a difficult personal challenge it will force me to find ways to get fit quickly. I can't afford a lazy day and must push myself every day towards the one million steps. This will be the most active I've been in years and that's a very good thing indeed.
I start the challenge on July 1st and have to achieve one million steps by the 31st August. I have two months and have to average a little over sixteen thousand steps a day, or eight miles.
I feel like Phileas Fogg in around the world in eighty days and no matter what obstacles I encounter I must achieve my goal I can't let myself fail.
