We clear landmines and destroy weapons to save and improve lives worldwide.

Story

Hi and thanks for visiting my page!

You may remember (or not) that last year I completed a similar ride in 2015 in Cambodia and Vietnam,

Our group raised an INCREDIBLE £130,000 - ALL of which went to help people who are not as lucky as us, to allow them to live their lives as freely as we do. It isn't until you are there that you realise just how many lives this money helps.

This year we are cycling 440KM across Sri-Lanka where war has meant that un-exploded ordinance are literally littered across the country.

People have a right to a safe future, free from fear, so they can rebuild their lives after conflict. MAG finds and destroys landmines and other un-exploded weapons to clear land for people affected by conflict, so they can go about their daily lives free from danger and fear.

I know its not a charity that is close to home, but when I was out there you see how a small donations can help and I hope you can help.

The trip is entirely funded by myself and EVERY penny you donate will go back into MAG.

Any sum of money that you could spare does genuinely make a difference! Rather than buy me a pint, spend a fiver and help save someone.

Thanks for reading

Sean

About the charity

Every single day, 13 people are killed or injured because of landmines and other explosive weapons. Half of all civilian casualties are children. MAG finds and destroys these weapons to save lives and rebuild futures; helping people to grow crops, attend school and build homes.
