Sean Treks 100km Across the Arctic Circle for WaterAid

HSBC Arctic Challenge 2018 · 3 August 2018 to 10 August 2018 ·
In 2016, I trekked over 100km across the Mongolian Gobi Desert in 5 days for WaterAid and our team funded over $300,000 for charity! This August, we are raising the bar. Our challenge is to accomplish the same feat across the Arctic Circle in Greenland with a fundraising goal of $500,000. We will be backpacking with all of our gear and limited necessities for the week, setting up camp each night, and will be completley off the grid without access to things like showers and toilets. Please support me on this Challenge by making a charitable donation to WaterAid and the great work they do!
About WaterAid:
Clean water is one of life's most essential requirements. Yet 1 in 9 do not have access to safe drinking water and 1 in 3 do not have sanitary toilets. Every 2 minutes a child under five dies of illness directly linked to dirty water, inadequate toilets and poor hygiene.
WaterAid transforms lives by bringing clean water and sanitation to the world's poorest communities with a goal that everyone, everywhere has these basic human rights by 2030. Every $1 invested in clean water returns an average increase of $4 in productivity back to the community while preventing the spread of deadly diseases and lowering the cost of health care. $25 alone will provide this basic need to one person for an entire year.
