Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am going to be running in the Reading Half Marathon to raise a bit of money for Bone Cancer Research. This is obviously a great cause and personally very significant to me. Someone very close and important to me was diagnosed with Bone Cancer in her knee when she was just 18. She subsequently needed a knee replacement and chemotherapy. She was given the all clear after a year of treatment but every now and then the pain returns as a cruel reminder of the anguish she went through. Cancer affects 1 in 3 people and every donation made really makes a difference for the research into cures and treatments.
