FINAL SCORE

Placed 9610 runner no. 15222
2hr 45 mins 41 secs

The mens' race was won in 1hr07m, the womens' in 1hr17m. We may have been relatively slow, but amazingly we hit the target time on Vicky's wristband to within 60 seconds. I t was peasy till 6 miles, jokes no longer funny at 7, hurt at 9, 10, 11, 12 but we breezed the last 100m in style!

Sincere thanks to you all for your very generous donations. Special thanks to our supporters on the day, , Tim, Alex and Neil, whose bobbing about at unexpected parts of the course kept us on our toes (ouch). Honestly, that was a real boost when jelly babies were not quite enough!

Thanks also to Joanna, for humouring 15222's delusional belief that the hill, which he is almost certainly over, still lies ahead... See you all for the three-legged ascent of Kilimanjaro?!
