FFS challenge · 8 November 2016

We are a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together we are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through our advocacy, support services and research.

Story

World events have taken an ominous turn this week, but there is still some good left in it... myself and 99 other do-gooders are aiming to raise €50,000 for the Irish Cancer Society by completing a variety of seemingly impossible fitness based challenges in FFS gym on 10 December.

I'll be completing the met con challenge which will mean doing 150 burpees, 400 squats and 400 sit ups in just 30 minutes. We are all training hard and realising how tough it's going to be - every donation is appreciated no matter how small and will go towards the great work the Irish Cancer Society does.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
