In July 2010 I am undertaking a sponsored drive to Ulaan Baatar, the capital of Mongolia. This is a journey of 10,000 miles, or a third of the way round the globe, in an area of the world where roads are few and far between.

I plan to drive a Land Rover-based ambulance which I can donate for local use on arrival in Ulaan Baatar, and I want to raise £10000 for Hope and Homes for children, a wonderful charity which was started by friends of my family in 1994.
