Sebastian's Ocean Race for Unicef

Clipper Round the World Race · 31 December 2020 ·
In November 2019 I am embarking on a crazy adventure sailing from Cape Town, South Africa to Fremantle, Australia along with 23 other equally crazy crew mates before setting off again to sail the North Pacific Ocean from Zhuhai, China to Seattle, Washington.
I decided to do this because I wanted to give myself a huge challenge during my gap year and explore the world, different cultures and meet new people. The Clipper Round the World Race has given me an incredible opportunity and I'm thrilled to be supporting Unicef UK while on this adventure.
We will be at sea for about 2 months, sleeping for only 4 or 6 hours at a time and at times battling waves of up to 15 metres and winds of up to 40 knots. The hours are long but the journey will be completely worth it and, by supporting Unicef along the way, it will give me an even bigger sense of achievement when I arrive at the finish line.
I hope to raise as much money as possible for those in need while doing this, I hugely admire Unicef for their work on the front line in being the first responders to communities in need.
Any amount you can give would be hugely appreciated and will go towards a fantastic cause - every penny counts towards saving lives.
