This is the first time I  will be doing a challenge of any sort. I have decided to do this to achieve and to prove to myself that anyone who wants to reach for the stars can do so. Life is too short and nobody knows what is around the corner.  

When I was thinking about which charity to raise funds for, the one that came to the forefront was a Cancer charity. Cancer has played a big part in my family history. I have lost my grandmother, grandfather, an Uncle, an Aunt and a cousin to this dreaded disease. I have one very special person in my life who has fought the battle of Cancer and this person wishes to remain anonymous, however through their sheer strength and determination and through all the treatments and support that was given to them they have survived and proved that this disease can be beaten if caught early.

The charity that I would like to donate funds to is the Institue of Cancer Research. Hopefully one day they will come up with a treatment that can cure Cancer without harsh treatments.
