I've chosen to support dementia research using advanced MRI scanners at my old University where in 1979/80 I had the privilege of helping with the original MRI research as part of my Physics degree. My mother Anne Peel sadly died from dementia in 2012 and unfortunately another close relative is also suffering from this debilitating disease.
