RVT/GMFA Gay Sports Day 2009 · 31 August 2009 ·

GMFA is the leading gay men’s health charity in the UK. GMFA works to improve gay men’s health by increasing the control they have over their own lives. GMFA’s work includes HIV prevention campaigns, a range of courses for gay men, a gay men’s health magazine, and online information resources.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. After triumphantly not coming last in every event last year, this year we are aiming for the heady heights of winning at least one event

The Royal Vauxhall Tavern Sports Day is supporting three worthwhile causes:

70% of the money raised will go to gay men's health charity, GMFA, to help them continue their valuable work towards improving the gay men's health through HIV and sexual health awareness interventions, smoking cessation courses, a bi-monthly magazine and online resources at www.gmfa.org.uk.

20% of the money raised will go to Vauxhall City Farm which was transformed from derelict land in 1977 by volunteers into the working farm we see today.

10% of the money raised will go towards the Friends of Spring Gardens to help the upkeep of the land which is hosting the Sports Day.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
