Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have entered my first ever marathon being the Brighton Marathon 2012 to raise money for Worthing and District Animal Rescue Service (WADARS). They rely solely on membership, donations, legacies and fund raising to keep this Charity running and do a great job in the local community in the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife, and the rescue and rehoming of domestic animals.

WADARS receives no government funding and does not meet the criteria for the lottery. They therefore rely entirely on the public for support, through donations, legacies and membership.

£5 helps care for a rescued bird.
£10 pays for the micro-chipping of a cat or dog so it can be traced if lost.
£40 pays for the neutering of a small, rescued cat.
£50 will feed and house a rescued puppy for a week.
£65 will buy a pair of leather animalhandling gloves.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
