Stuart Langley has been my brother Spencer's best friend for as long as I can remember. They were always together, laughing and joking around and in and out of our house. It was like having two brothers around and Stuart become a very close friend of mine too. He was always interested in my work and suggesting ideas. He loved art and the last meal we all had together, we were actually looking at his old school art portfolio and laughing!
Stuart's cycling accident which has left him severly injured and needing full-time care has been devastating for all his family and friends.
We all want to help him and this is just one small way of trying to raise money for equipment that may help him to improve his fitness.
I will be dedicating a painting to Stuart from my Summer show in the Serena Hall Gallery in Southwold and also in the spirit of Friendship making some handmade friendship bands which I will be selling through the gallery and donating all the proceeds to Stuarts fund. Some photos will be posted soon. And of course Spencer, Katy, Marc, Dougie and Jeanie and I will all be doing our sponsored trek at Mount Toubkal, Morocco in October.
