It's was SO blooming hot on RACE DAY but very exciting, there were 10's of 1,000's of runners! I was right near the back of the pack, the race gun went off at 09.35am but I didnt cross the start till 10.25am! 

I finished in 54.5mins, a PB for me so i was very pleased, I have to say I never did find my 'stride' as they say, the whole race felt like hard work. Nevertheless it was worth it to see the sights and so many runners out trying for their good causes.
