Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Childlife helps to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in the UK. Together with our partner charities we are working to support thousands of children, young people and their families by helping to provide care and support, undertake research and influence policy.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The University of Exeter secured 4 places in the Virgin London Marathon this year and I was lucky enough (??) to get one. The Charity we are running for is Childlife. Please help me support them and give what you can.

Every day thousands of brave children in the UK deal with some very grown-up challenges, caused by deafness, severe illness or social deprivation. Some even have to face the end of life before it’s barely begun.

Your donations

A donation of £20 could pay for a reflexology or aromatherapy session for a terminally ill child

£40 could pay for a child to attend an NDCS sporting event and meet other deaf children for the first time

The donations will be used by Childlife to support children, young people and their families throughout the UK, through four partner charities: Ataxia UK, Acorn's Children's Hospice, NCB and the National Deaf Children's Society.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
