Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m taking part in the Coventry Half Marathon to help provide vital aid for the Rohingya Refugees who are fleeing conflict in Myanmar into neighbouring Bangladesh. An estimated 500,000 Rohingya Muslims have fled and this number is rising. They need our help, fast.

My run is in aid of Penny Appeals Emergency Rohingya campaign, which is providing food, shelter, hygiene kits and medical care for the thousands.  However, the need is great - and more assistance is urgently required.

We can all do our bit and what a great reward it is knowing we are helping.  I aim to fundraise a minimum of £100. This will be enough to provide two food packs, which will be enough to provide two families food for an entire month.

Not a lot to ask for is it? The more is fundraised; the more families get help.  So please help as much as you can.  Thank you.
