Join us in supporting "The 5 point 5 mile walk" in memory of our dad, Mr Arjun Raisinghani, who passed away September 21st 2012, at Hammersmith hospital. Our dad was a hardworking, honest and never one to complain person. He had many health complications in the last decade which were tackled over and over again by Northwick Park and Hammersmith Hospitals. We are grateful to the staff of the Renal and Stroke units at these hospitals, and through this walk and your donations we will be raising funds to primarily help these units.

Just after 2009 began, my father lost the ability to walk with a serious stroke - he remained in Hammersmith hospital for 5 months, where he learnt to walk again through rehabilitation. Even when he was weak, and on a cold winter day he would ensure he participated in his daily walk. So please participate with us in this walk.

We will walk through locations that have significance to our dad and remembering our dad at 5 seperate places. We need walkers and of course many generous donations to make this event a success. It is now time to help and support other patients and families, to keep their loved ones happy and healthy for as long as possible. We also want to use this event to further raise awareness on the signs of a stroke so early intervention measures can be taken.
