The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

On Friday 18th September, I will be cycling 170km (105 miles) from Daventry (near Northampton) to London as part of the Barclays Wheels for Change event.

Wheels for change is an annual fundraising cycling challenge, led by Barclays colleagues to raise money for charity. This year, Wheels for Change is raising for the Prince's Trust, one of Barclays UK charity partners. The Prince's Trust specifically focuses on 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed, struggling at school or at risk of exclusion. They provide training programmes, mentoring and support and offer financial grants to build confidence and motivation in these disadvantaged young people to help them secure stronger futures for themselves and their families.

I have never been a cyclist and so this is going to be extremely challenging for me, any donations towards the cause will be greatly appreciated!
