The Kenyan Orphan Project is a charity which aims to improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya. 

This summer I am taking part in a two-week volunteering programme in Kisumu, Kenya. Here I will be helping at various KOP projects including schools, feeding centres and hospitals. 

In preparation for my trip I am aiming to raise at least £800 for the charity by participating in the Liverpool Half Marathon on 17th March 2013. 

Every penny of every donation makes a big difference to the lives of children in Kenya.
