I recently got scouted for Junior Miss Preston 2017 and have been given the exciting opportunity to raise money for charity. The chosen charity is Variety, the Children's Charity. Variety helps disadvantaged and disabled children. They build children's hospitals and provide specialist equipment for children. Last year, Variety provided 68 wheelchairs, 59 sunshine coaches and 114 grants for specialist equipment. Variety has also created memorable experiences for 2,000,000 children through 'Variety Great Days Out'. One child actually described it as being the 'best day of my life'
