Event: Mean Bean Challenge 2018, from 19 March 2018 to 23 March 2018
The Mean Bean Challenge - 5 days eating nothing but plain rice and beans -will give you an opportunity to experience hunger, and raise money to end poverty and hunger for people like Matunda.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I stand on scripture James  2:14-18

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Next week is Tearfund’s Mean Bean Challenge. All you eat is porridge, rice and beans. Think you can do it? Guvna B does, so he's tackling it head on for people like Matunda, whose family live off shoots and leaves. I'll be joining , take the challenge! I'm a lover of food so this will be very challenging but worth the it.
