Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.that I have set up to raise much needed funds for Facing The World.Facing the World is a registered British children's charity providing life-changing reconstructive surgery to children with severe facial disfigurements. They also provide training in order to develop the infrastructure required for more children to receive the treatment they need in their own countries.

This charity has really touched my heart for a number of reasons. At the tender age of 20 I was the victim of a life changing event, a car accident that robbed me of the right side of my pretty face and the loss of my right eye. I learnt to walk again fully after 12 months and have undergone 27 operations to rebuild my face so far. I live with many losses, my sight, smell, taste to name a few, however I am eternally grateful that I am here to tell the tale and live with the amazing passion to help others ....especially this wonderful charity! My amazing surgeons Niall Kirkpatrick & Naresh Joshi who have reconstructed my face after many years & have truly changed my life give their time to Facing The World to recostruct the faces of these incredible children which allows them to go back into their society and be accepted, it can change their lives so dramatically and does!

Please please help me to raise whatever I can to help them change the lives of some amazing children and I promise to get myself fit for my next bout of operations by these amazing surgeons in the process!
