Bath Half Marathon 2014 · 2 March 2014 ·
As I’m sure you know (I’ve probably bored you silly talking about night running, treadmill running, the point of sweat bands round the wrist, right trainers, wrong trainers…etc etc) I’m running the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 2 March!
I’m doing the 13.01 miles or, 21.10km (arrgh!) for the charity I work for, Target Ovarian Cancer. This is because a) i truly believe the charity is doing amazing things to support women with ovarian cancer; funding great research, and making waves in public policy to raise awareness of the disease…and b) it’s actually great getting fit again!
It’s been an awesome experience so far – going from not-being-able-to-run-to-save-my-life, to my first 10K last Sunday!
I'm determined to do this challenge to show my support for Target Ovarian Cancer - and I’m hoping you can help with another challenge? I need to raise money to make this all worth it! There’s a minimum of £300…can you help get there?
