Weldmar Hospicecare - Midnight Walk · 22 August 2009 ·

Weldmar Hospicecare makes every moment matter for adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, in their last twelve months. Our specialist compassionate care, given in patients' own homes and at our hospice, comes from doctors, nurses, counsellors and therapists, for patients and their loved ones.

Story

I am taking part in the Midnight Walk on August 22nd in aid of the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.  My reason for taking part in this fundraising event is to help raise money for the hospice where Paul's sister Marcia passed away last year.  Marcia was such a lovely, warm and caring lady and we all miss her dearly.  She would have loved the idea of all the ladies doing this walk (1000 of us), she would have made us all costumes for the event!  Please make a donation and have a laugh thinking about 1000 ladies in purple t-shirts marching along Weymouth seafront at midnight, most probably in the rain, tired, but happy.  Thank you.
