Story
I am a Race Horse Trainer and I am running the Great North Run in sept for Canine Partners. I suffered a displaced fracture of my spine and was paralysed and in a wheelchair for 6 months, but after extensive rehabilitation I have been extremely lucky to be in the position to take on this challenge.
Canine Partners are an outstanding Charity, assisting people with disabilities to enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life, by providing specially trained assistance dogs. Having spent some time in a wheelchair I have some understanding of how frustrating constantly needing assistance with even the most basic of tasks can be. The independence a Canine Partner can bring can transform a persons life.
Thank you very much in supporting me in the very worthy cause.
