In total HCPT takes almost 2000 children from the ,  other countries to Lourdes each year. The children have a wide range of physical and mental disabilities, or are physically and emotionally deprived or neglected.  

Group 77 is a Fife and Falkirk based group who travel to each Easter.

*UPDATE*: Thanks to all who have donated so far, we made the inital target of £700 to get one kid on the plane to Lourdes in 2011!  We have now raised the bar to see if we can get another kid on the plane by the time we finish the walk on 4th June, wish us luck!

In order to raise funds to help take the children out to Lourdes in Easter 2011, some friends and I are undertaking the challenge of the West Highland Way over 6 days, leaving Milngavie on 30th May and arriving in Fort William on 4th June.   

 

We are trying to raise enough money to pay for one child's fare which costs approximately £700.  Your donations would be appreciated, and just think, you have the easy part, we have the 96 gruelling miles to walk! ;)
